Pru helps with Tummy Time

We have been working on Tummy Time to get the back muscles used and practice rolling over (with Mom's help right now). Pru has decided he is very knowledgable on Tummy Time and is consulting with me to ensure Julien gets it right! He is also an effective diaper smeller too ;-)

Saying goodbye to Jack was very hard...

It is official. Jack is with his new family on the west side of the state. They met us in Grand Rapids yesterday and picked him up. Amid all the tears we were able to put a bright face on the situation that he will be happy in his new home and hopefully our life will get a bit simpler with just one dog. I feel a little less stressed at home already. I am able to walk Pru on my own with Julien and not feel like I need to walk Jack next or he is jealous. I also think Pru will take it pretty well, we are already playing with him more and he will get first dibs on leftover and fallen food. I think we still need to take him to the dog park in order to make sure he is getting dog interaction but I feel good about our decision overall. I promised Pru we will not be giving him up ever. Maybe when Julien is older we will get a second dog again.

PS Taking down Jacks stocking was very sad.

Today we got definate smiles while playing the pushup game. I do a push up over him while he layes on the floor and kiss him when I go down...Anthony got some pics that I need to post. We are sure he says "Maaaa" when he cries. He also does karate poses when he sleeps, it is quite adorable.

Jules is up to 10.5 lbs! My arms feel it!! In a his new snowsuit from Grandma.

I just signed the paperwork to teach a class at Oakland University. I am so excited. I will be in charge of shaping young minds!!! Scary. Julien will staying home with dad on Thursday nights.

He is a Turkey!

Julien had a perfect Thanksgiving with all my family except Keith and Anthony's mom and Sam. Grandma and Nunna got some good holding time in and as the mom I truely apprecieted the break. Mom and Emily stayed the whole week until Saturday when Emily informed me that I am no longer fun since I had the baby....maybe if she lived on less sleep she would be no fun too. Julien stole the show with his smiling pic though..check it out!
