Christmas 2008

We headed up to BR on Christmas Day and made it for a great Christmas Dinner, Grandma Harper is the best cook! The present exchange lasted until 4pm and then we were going to go to GR but we were WAY to exhausted. (It is tiring waking up early to pack a car for a baby...you never realize all the stuff you need!) We hit the bed at 7pm that night. Friday we stayed low key and Anthony and I got to do a small amount of shopping while Grandma babysat. Julien fell asleep on her chest and stayed that way the whole time we were gone. Saturday we drove to Cedar Springs in the awful fog to see the Aunts. They had a great time playing with Julien and Anthony and I learned we are 68 years old in Wii fitness age. I got down to 59 years old the second time I took it. Seriously playing baseball, tennis and bowling should not be enough to rate your fitness!! Great Grandma Harper took us out to lunch and she was in heaven playing with Julien...it is so great for her to see her Great Grand Child. That night Anthony and I met up with Dominick and Adam at Shuburgs for some drinks and great conversation. Grandma watched Julien again and gave me the bat signal call at 8:30 to come home since Julien was waking up and hungary! Finally we saw Aunt Molly, Uncle Jim and Clare and Will from Chicago. They came up on Saturday. Julien was a hit and Clare will be the perfect babysitter! William played with Julien's toys more then Julien does and he is 10! Can't break that little kid spirit.

Julien had a great time at Anthony's mom's "Nunna" for Christmas Eve. Julien made out like a bandit with more gifts then anyone else, it actually got embarrasing how many gifts he got since we felt bad for the other gift getters! He loves his tie-dye t-shirt from Aunt Elaine and his French booties from Vanessa and Ben!
